Bloom Energy in Fremont, CA is seeking a TIG Welder to build and outfit solid oxide fuel cell systems. You will weld Inconel and stainless steel, operate precision welding equipment, and fabricate fixtures for assembly.

Qualifications

HS diploma or equivalent? technical/military training preferred.
7–9 years hands-on manufacturing in capital equipment environments.
Experience welding exotic materials such as Inconel with high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

TIG weld components per design specifications.
Weld Inconel and stainless steel parts for solid oxide fuel cell systems.
Operate and maintain welding equipment safely and efficiently.
Follow SOPs and work instructions precisely to ensure quality.
Fabricate components for use in the solid oxide fuel cell electrical power generator.
Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment.
Maintain all machine shop equipment and tooling.
Notify management when consumables need replenishment to maintain inventories.
Create assembly and fabrication fixtures and assist continuous improvement.
