Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an experienced Welder for its Clearwater, FL fabrication team. The role focuses on fitting, welding, and cleaning welds to produce quality components per engineering drawings and specs.

You will work with TIG and MIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel, assemble parts into larger structures, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in a production environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of welding and fabrication experience.
• TIG welding experience with stainless steel required.
• Reading blueprints and drawings is essential.
• Fabrication with sheet metal, pipe and tube components.

Responsibilities

• Fit, weld, and clean welds on fabricated components according to drawings.
• Use TIG and MIG welding to fabricate components from stainless and carbon steel.
• Assemble components into larger structures with proper alignment and structural integrity.
• Inspect finished workpieces for conformance to standards and adjust as needed.
• Perform maintenance and troubleshoot welding equipment.
