Job Summary:
The TIG Welder is responsible for welding aluminum components with high precision and quality. This role requires an understanding of welding techniques, safety procedures, and the ability to operate welding equipment in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform TIG welding on aluminum products according to engineering drawings and blueprints.
2. Inspect welds to ensure conformance to specifications and quality standards.
3. Set up, maintain, and operate TIG welding equipment, including adjusting amperage and gas flow rates for aluminum.
4. Clean and prepare aluminum surfaces prior to welding.
5. Use hand tools, grinders, and other equipment to prepare, clean, and finish welds.
6. Troubleshoot and repair defects in welds as needed.
7. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety standards and procedures.
8. Read and interpret welding symbols and blueprints.
9. Document and report completed work and any issues to supervisors.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in TIG welding, specifically with aluminum.
2. Certification in welding (e.g., AWS Certified Welder) preferred.
3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
4. Strong attention to detail and quality control.
5. Familiarity with welding materials, including aluminum alloys.
6. Knowledge of welding safety protocols.
7. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
