Description

Join Our Team at Senior Metal Bellows!

For over 70 years, Senior Metal Bellows has been a leader in developing custom-engineered bellows-based products for some of the world's most demanding industries. Our customers rely on us to create solutions that can't be found anywhere else.

Conveniently located off Route 95 in Sharon, MA, we are a technology-driven company that fosters collaborative, cross-functional teams that drive innovation. Our team members take pride in building strong relationships-with our customers, suppliers, and each other.

What You'll Do:

  1. Work from complex drawings and other documented work instruction using working knowledge of weld symbology.

  2. Make standard set-ups and maintain operating conditions as prescribed, submitting questionable settings to appropriate supervisor or technical leader.

  3. Establish and develop weld schedule(s) with engineering personnel.

  4. Maintain required quality and productivity levels, making appropriate machine and tooling adjustments to comply with requirements. Troubleshoot problems and take appropriate corrective action.

  5. Inspect parts using basic measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers, and leak check equipment. Visually inspect parts for weld integrity; and when required, forward parts for dimensional correctness inspection.

  6. Ensure quality requirements are maintained using quantitative charting techniques, including Statistical Process Control (SPC).

  7. When required, assist and/or train other team members.

  8. Basic computer knowledge to perform labor transactions, and other required functions.

Secondary Elements:

  1. Perform other related duties as assigned or as required.

  2. Maintain necessary records. Detect and report operation of faulty equipment and unusual conditions to team leader. Maintain work area and equipment in clean, safe and orderly working condition. Follow safety rules and regulations and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

  3. Work effectively with others and actively participate in continuous business improvement activities.

  4. Ensure compliance with all Quality and Environmental Health & Safety procedures. Attend HS&E training relative to functional duties.

What You Bring:

Education: 5 years related experience

HS Diploma or equivalent

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing accounting, with financial analysis, cost accounting, and/or inventory management responsibilities.

  • Be part of a team that values innovation, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
