Job description

Join Our Team at Senior Metal Bellows!

For over 70 years, Senior Metal Bellows has been a leader in developing custom-engineered bellows-based products for demanding industries. Located off Route 95 in Sharon, MA, we foster innovation through collaborative, cross-functional teams, building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.

What You'll Do:
  1. Work from complex drawings and documented instructions, utilizing knowledge of weld symbology.
  2. Set up equipment and maintain operating conditions, consulting supervisors or technical leaders for questionable settings.
  3. Develop weld schedules with engineering support.
  4. Maintain quality and productivity, adjust machines/tools as needed, troubleshoot, and correct issues.
  5. Inspect parts with measuring tools and leak check equipment; perform visual inspections for weld integrity.
  6. Use statistical process control (SPC) to ensure quality standards.
  7. Assist and train team members when required.
  8. Perform basic computer functions related to labor transactions and documentation.
Secondary Responsibilities:
  1. Perform other duties as assigned.
  2. Maintain records, report equipment issues, keep work area safe and clean, and follow safety protocols including PPE usage.
  3. Participate in continuous improvement activities and ensure compliance with quality and safety procedures.
Qualifications:

Education: 5 years related experience, HS Diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum 5 years in manufacturing, with skills in accounting, financial analysis, cost accounting, or inventory management.
