Job Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and sketches to understand job specifications.
• Use TIG welding techniques to assemble and fabricate metal parts.
• Inspect and test welded surfaces and structures for flaws.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment.
• Select appropriate welding equipment or methods based on requirements.
• Assess equipment, structures, materials, and job specifications for suitable welding positions and methods.
• Monitor welding processes to prevent overheating, warping, or distortion.
• Follow health and safety protocols.
• Maintain equipment safety and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with team to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of TIG welding experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with electrical/manual tools (saws, calipers, etc.).
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
• Welding certification (e.g., AWS Certified Welder) is a plus.
• Knowledge of safety standards and use of protective gear.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in English.
• Completion of relevant apprenticeship program.
• Physical stamina and hand-eye coordination.
