Qualifications

  • 3+ years of welding experience with proficiency in Tig, Mig, and Stick welding.
  • Ability to read and work from blueprints and diagrams.

Job description

Support a philosophy of zero accidents by following all applicable safety procedures and maintaining equipment to operate in the safest way possible.


Must have extensive knowledge of Tig/ Stainless Mig and Stick welding operations.


Must have the ability to short arc, spray arc, and use a torch proficiently.


The ability to set up, adjust, and maintain welding equipment such as electric arc welders and gas welders.


The ability to read and independently work from plans, sketches, diagrams, and blueprints.


Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the welding trade.


Support Manufacturing Engineering on improvement projects.


Support the efforts of Lean and Continuous Improvement teams.


Adhere to company policies, procedures, and rules.


Create and maintain a safe and sanitary working environment.


Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.


Flexibility to work hours necessary to meet plant requirements.


Expectations:
  1. 3 Years minimum work experience.
  2. Successfully pass a weld test.
  3. Read and follow blueprints.
  4. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  5. Stainless Steel: 1 year (Preferred).
  6. Flux welding: 1 year (Preferred).
  7. TIG welding: 1 year (Preferred).
