3:30 pm - 2 am
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up and adjust machines and equipment to produce quality products.
- Receive instructions, prints, and route sheets; organize and plan operational duties for the assigned shift.
- Perform first-piece and continual inspections using precision measuring instruments.
- Conduct all required quality tests, certifications, and production checks as directed by Quality Assurance or supervisor.
- Visually inspect products, record production, report/record scrap, and perform rework as needed.
- Make routine equipment adjustments to ensure efficient processes and compliance with company welding standards.
- Perform daily upkeep and routine maintenance of equipment and production area.
- Operate overhead crane, forklift, handheld grinder, and other department equipment.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
Skills and Experience:
- Certified Welder or equivalent qualification, either in position or certified by a technical institute.
- Pass the AWS Certification Test per Company Welding Policy and any other required certifications.
- Continuation in the role is contingent upon successful completion of training/certification tests.
- Proficient in using calipers, gauges, and other measuring devices.
- Perform SPC procedures and tests, and interpret findings to make process adjustments.
- Navigate the HMI (Human-Machine Interface) efficiently.
- Highly motivated and problem-solving oriented.
