ACT, a leading aerospace thermal management producer, is seeking a Welder/Engineering Technician for first and second shifts in Lancaster, PA. The role focuses on precision TIG welding of aluminum aerospace components to AWS D17.1 standards, with strict quality control and documentation.

You will perform leak tests, pressure tests, and sealing operations, while supporting tooling and process development with engineering teams. Onsite, contract-to-hire with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Perform precision TIG welding of aluminum aerospace components per AWS D17.1 standards.
• Conduct leak, pressure, fluid transfer, and sealing operations for aerospace vessels.
• Collaborate with Engineering on tooling, thermal products, and processes.
• Use calipers, micrometers, feeler gauges, and FARO Arm for quality checks.
• Complete documentation and traceability, ensuring compliance with requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and preventive maintenance initiatives.

Welder/Engineering Technician - 1st & 2nd Shift Available

Location: Lancaster, PA

Schedule: 1st- 7am-4pm Mon-Fri one week, Mon-Thurs second week.

2nd- Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM

Pay: $24.00 - $28.50/hr

• Join Advanced Cooling Technologies (ACT) , a leading manufacturer of thermal management products supporting aerospace, defense, medical, HVAC, and commercial satellite industries.

• Perform precision TIG welding of aluminum aerospace components in accordance with AWS D17.1 standards while maintaining strict quality and workmanship requirements.

• Conduct leak testing, pressure testing, fluid transfer, and sealing operations for aerospace pressure vessels using established manufacturing procedures.

• Partner closely with Engineering teams to support the design, fabrication, testing, and development of tooling, thermal products, and manufacturing processes .

• Perform dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, feeler gauges, FARO Arm portable CMM systems, and other precision measurement tools to verify product quality.

• Complete manufacturing documentation, traceability records, and in-process/final inspections while ensuring compliance with quality and customer requirements.

• Utilize creativity, initiative, and technical expertise to support continuous improvement efforts, preventive maintenance activities, and the development of fabrication and testing procedures.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.50/hr.
