Job summary

Creative Pathways Inc. is seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. You will weld and assemble tube duct and sheet metal using TIG processes, ensuring components meet blueprints and AWS D17.1 standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience in precision welding, handling stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel, and will perform quality tests to verify weld integrity. Monday through Friday work hours are 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. You will be using specialized equipment to weld & assemble new Tube Duct & Sheet Metal.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Perform precision TIG welding on a variety of metals including stainless steel, aluminum and carbon steel.

Follow blueprints to meet product specifications

Weld process as per AWS D17.1

Prepare and align metal components before welding, ensuring proper fit and measurement.

Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance

Assist in training and developing others within the team

Operate welding equipment including TIG machines, grinders, and buffing tools.

PROCEDURES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure all welding work meets blueprint, dimensions, tolerances and quality standards.

Regulate gas flow and pressure using cylinder gauges or valves.

Maintain safety protocols and ensure proper operation of welding equipment

Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, quality inspectors, and coworkers

Responsible for keeping equipment clean and orderly

An effective candidate must have the ability to meet tight deadlines and have strong interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Must be detailed oriented.

Learn and adhere to company policies and quality processes as well as safety requirements.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Must establish and maintain a professional working relationship with external and internal teams.

May perform other duties as assigned.

PERIPHERAL DUTIES

1. Interact with organizational team members and other departments in a professional manner.

2. Assists in formulating a strategic plan.

3. Perform other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Manufacturing environment; may be exposed to loud noises, unique smells, changing temperatures, machinery with moving parts and other dangers associated with manufacturing (cutting, deburring, etc.). CPI has safety equipment and safety standards in place to help maintain a safe work environment.

WORKING HOURS

Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Overtime maybe required on an as needed basis.
