Unknown is seeking a TIG welder in Clifton, NJ. The role involves setting up welding machines, reading blueprints, and TIG welding stainless steel components to exact specifications. The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM with some overtime, on-site at one location.

Candidates should have stainless steel TIG welding experience, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand/kneel/stoop, and follow written or verbal instructions while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
One-year related experience and/or training through a certified training facility.
Experience with stainless steel TIG welding required.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently.
Must be able to stand, kneel, stoop.
Ability to identify and measure material types and thicknesses.
Ability to produce quality products consistently.
Ability to follow instructions given both verbally and in written form.
Must be reliable with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

Set up welding machines.
Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements.
Fit and TIG weld stainless steel components based on the specifications of the blueprints and/or drawings.
Insure work conforms to prints and quality requirements.
Follow production plans and required daily output requirements.
Assists with material cutting and preparation as needed (sawing, grinding, deburring).
Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.
Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
Follow all safety rules and quality standards.
Work together with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.

TIG WELDER

An industry leader in the design, manufacturing and distribution of custom stainless-steel equipment for the food service, plumbing and materials handling industry is looking for experienced TIG welders responsible for fitting and welding of stainless steel parts using TIG process.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

o Set up welding machines
o Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements
o Fit and TIG weld stainless steel components based on the specifications of the blueprints and/or drawings
o Insure work conforms to prints and quality requirements.
