Qualifications

• MIG/TIG welding fabrication experience on structural steel and sheet metal.
• Ability to read, understand parts lists and blueprints or drawings.
• Good math skills with ability to convert decimals to fractions.

Responsibilities

• Reads tape measures and fabricates welded sheet metal and structural steel to print.
• Maintains welds smooth and prepares parts for paint per specifications.
• Follows prints, sets up material lists, and aids in training other workers.
• Coordinates daily workflow and assists weld department in production.
• Performs routine maintenance and assists with engineering changes when needed.
