Aerotek in Rogers, MN is seeking a Welder to perform TIG and MIG welding on mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel from blueprints in a fast-paced job-shop setting. This permanent, fully onsite role offers exposure to a variety of metal products and collaboration with cross-functional teams on time‑critical projects.

You will work 1st shift or 2nd shift, earning $25-$32/hr with comprehensive benefits and weekly pay through Aerotek.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG (approximately 60%) and MIG (approximately 40%) welding on mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel components.
• Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications, dimensions, and weld requirements.
• Set up welding equipment, adjust settings, and select appropriate consumables based on material and project needs.
• Fabricate, fit, and assemble metal parts according to drawings and work instructions.
• Use tape measures and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and ensure accuracy of cuts, fits, and welds.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced job-shop environment where projects and priorities may change.
• Inspect welds and finished parts for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.
• Collaborate with fabrication, painting, and other production teams to complete projects on time.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all shop safety practices.
• Operate and care for welding and fabrication equipment, reporting any issues or maintenance needs.
