Job summary

Sightline Commercial Solutions seeks a Skilled TIG Welder for the 1st shift in Minneapolis, MN. You will perform GTAW welds on aluminum and steel and interpret shop drawings to meet deadlines.

Required: at least two years of aluminum GTAW experience, proper PPE, ability to read a tape measure, and to pass an AWS Welder Qualification test. We offer a Production Bonus, PTO, holidays, and 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Two years of aluminum GTAW welding experience.
• Ability to read shop drawings and weld symbols.
• Ability to pass an AWS Welder Qualification test.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform near-perfect coined GTAW welds on aluminum and steel (thickness .080" to 1").
• Interpret shop drawings and follow weld symbols.
• Produce structurally sound welds to meet deadlines.
• Maintain knowledge of the GMAW process.
