Job summary

A technology and engineering firm seeks a Tier II Network Technician in Springfield, Virginia. The role involves supporting network installations, resolving technical issues, and collaborating with engineers. Candidates must have TS/SCI clearance and up to 10 years of experience. Qualifications

• Must have TS/SCI clearance with Poly.
• Ability to travel 25% of the time required.
• Valid driver's license necessary.

Responsibilities

• Support the installation and maintenance of client LAN/WAN devices.
• Respond to and resolve incident tickets.
• Provide support to Tier III network engineers.

Skills

Knowledge of TCP/IP

Layer 1 and Layer 2 networking

Incident management

Configuration management

Cisco IOS and Juniper JUNOS familiarity

Basic routing fundamentals

Education

Combination of experience and education equating to Doctorate and 3 years, or Master's and 4 years, or Bachelor's and 6 years
