The role requires strong problem-solving skills, meticulous ticket documentation, and the ability to work independently in a federal environment, with both in-person and remote support as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience providing Tier 2 desktop and peripheral support.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and documentation.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
• Install, troubleshoot, service, and repair PCs and related software
• Support basic network connectivity and hardware issues
• Connect devices to existing data networks
• Maintain trouble logs and documentation in ticketing systems
• Provide in-person and remote support to end users
• Perform minor hardware and software repairs
• Assist users with proper use of hardware and software
• Document daily support activities and resolutions
• Collaborate with staff and management regarding system needs and improvements
