Job summary

ExecuSource, Inc. is seeking an experienced Tier II Desktop Support Specialist for a manufacturing environment in Harrisburg, NC. You will troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and network issues while supporting Microsoft 365, AD, and IQMS/DELMIAWorks.

This direct hire role is onsite, with occasional travel to Easley, SC, and offers a salary range of $60,000-$75,000 based on experience. You will collaborate with ERP, network, infrastructure, and security teams to keep production systems

Qualifications

• Experience providing Tier II desktop support in a manufacturing or office environment.
• Proficiency with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, AD, and Group Policy.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and network fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
• Support Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, Office, and enterprise apps.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, software installs, and workstation configurations.
• Resolve VPN, Wi-Fi, network connectivity, printing, and scanning issues.
• Provide IQMS/DELMIAWorks user support for access and connectivity problems.
• Collaborate with ERP, network, infrastructure, and security teams to resolve issues.
• Track and resolve tickets and maintain technical documentation.
• Assist with onboarding, equipment deployments, and IT projects.
• Travel to Easley, SC facility as needed; travel otherwise only when necessary.

Tier II Desktop Support Specialist - Manufacturing / Microsoft 365 / IQMS

Location: Harrisburg, NC

Pay: $60,000-$75,000 annually, based on experience

Schedule: Full-time, onsite; Monday-Friday, typically 8 AM-5 PM, with a possible 7 AM-4 PM schedule.

Our client is a manufacturing organization whose technology supports critical production, inventory, shipping, and warehouse operations. This role works closely with plant employees and specialized IT teams to keep systems running smoothly.

They are looking for you, an experienced Tier II Desktop Support Specialist, to troubleshoot technical issues and provide dependable, customer-focused support. This is a direct hire opportunity for a hands-on professional who enjoys solving problems and supporting both office and manufacturing users.

• Track and resolve support tickets, investigate recurring problems, and maintain technical documentation.
• Assist with employee onboarding, equipment deployments, hardware refreshes, software upgrades, and IT projects.
• Travel to the Easley, SC facility as needed; other travel would be exceptional and only when necessary.

What you need to succeed:

• Relevant Tier II desktop support experience and strong hardware, software, and application troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi, and remote support tools.
• Practical understanding of IQMS ERP/DELMIAWorks and its use in manufacturing operations.
• Experience with IT ticketing systems, incident management, and technical documentation.
• Strong communication, customer-service, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with specialized IT teams and support users across manufacturing, warehouse, and office environments.
• Willingness to work onsite in Harrisburg and travel as needed.
