Job summary

You’ll develop calibration programs, ensure policy compliance, and drive efficient laboratory operations end-to-end. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in metrology or equivalent, 5+ years at Tier 3 level, and a TS/SCI with polygraph; US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in metrology/calibration.
• 5+ years of Tier 3 metrology experience.
• Proficiency in metrology techniques and calibration of test equipment.
• Must hold TS/SCI with polygraph and US citizenship.
• Role requires full‑time onsite at a government facility.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains metrology policies and procedures aligned with customer needs.
• Manages calibration schedules and administration; budget where appropriate.
• Keeps current with metrology technologies and industry practices.
• Oversees vendor relationships and billing reconciliations.
• Applies ANSI/NCSL Z540 and ISO/IEC 17025 standards when calibrating assets.
