Job summary

GDIT seeks a Tier 3 Metrology Senior Technician to support mission-critical government projects. You will develop policies, manage calibration schedules, and ensure alignment with ANSI/ISO standards while applying metrology expertise to achieve objectives.

Requires a TS/SCI with polygraph, 5+ years of Tier 3 experience, and full-time onsite work at a government facility. Strong MS Office skills and familiarity with Fluke and Keysight tools are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in metrology and calibration.
• 5+ years of Tier 3 level metrology experience.
• Familiar with ANSI/NCSL Z540 and ANS/ISO/IEC 17025.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains metrology policies and procedures aligned with customer mission requirements.
• Manages metrology schedule and calibration requirements, with potential budget responsibilities.
• Keeps current with metrology technologies and industry best practices and advises on implementation.
• Oversees metrology processes to meet objectives efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Manages vendor relationships and billing reconciliations.
