Job summary

Numeral is seeking a detail-oriented specialist to own difficult sales tax cases end-to-end for a remote team based in Salt Lake City. You’ll reconcile customer data, investigate discrepancies, and communicate findings clearly to customers and stakeholders.

You’ll research using state guidance and statutes, leverage AI tools for speed, and document solutions so teammates can accelerate. Strong English writing and SaaS support experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong research habits: check primary sources and show your work.
• Experience supporting a SaaS product in a customer-facing role.
• Comfort digging into data with SQL and reading JSON API requests/responses.
• Excellent written English: explain hard problems clearly in writing.

Responsibilities

• Own the hard cases, start to finish, reconciling numbers and resolving issues.
• Research against primary sources and verify before involving customers.
• Write calm, accurate replies that explain what is known and next steps.
• Bridge support and product by detailing bugs and proposed fixes.
• Share learnings, help teammates, and improve docs and processes.
