Job summary

3500 Square, LLC is seeking a Tier 2 Systems Administrator - Continuous Operations Support to join our team supporting a large-scale federal IT environment. The role focuses on 24x7 operations, troubleshooting complex issues, and maintaining secure, high-availability systems across on-premise and cloud infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has hands-on enterprise IT administration experience, AD/GPO expertise, Windows Server and Azure AD skills, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on enterprise-level system administration for on-prem and cloud.
• AD, GPO administration and Windows Server expertise required.
• Strong patching, security compliance, and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with SCOM or Quest Suite monitoring tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24x7 operational support for enterprise infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot server patches, configurations, and maintenance tasks.
• Validate patching and security controls with IA tools.
• Manage AD accounts, GPOs, and Azure AD access.
• Support device management and end-user computing issues.
• Escalate complex issues to Tier 3 and de-escalate to Tier 1.
• Monitor infrastructure with SCOM/Quest Suite and document incidents.
