We're a high-performing Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in the D.C. metro area supporting mid-sized businesses, nonprofits, and trade associations with strategic and hands-on IT services. Our team delivers Microsoft-focused solutions including M365, Intune, SharePoint, and more.

We're hiring a Tier 2 System Administrator who brings deep technical knowledge, clear communication, and a client-first mindset. You’ll play a key role resolving escalated issues, mentoring junior staff, and acting as a trusted advisor to our clients. No entry-level tickets here—you’ll be tackling real challenges that make an impact.

What You’ll Do:

• Escalated Microsoft 365 Support: Own Tier 2+ tickets involving Exchange Online, Intune, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID, and OneDrive.
• Root Cause Resolution: Go beyond the quick fix—solve the problem and prevent it from recurring.
• Team Mentorship: Collaborate with and guide Tier 1 techs to elevate the team’s knowledge and skills.
• Phone-Based Support: Deliver clear, empathetic support that leaves clients feeling heard and helped.
• Networking & Server Support: Step in on related issues like DNS, VPNs, firewalls, or Windows Server when needed.
• Build Relationships: Become a go-to resource for your clients. You’ll be more than a technician—you’ll be a trusted partner.

What We’re Looking For:

• 4+ years in technical support, with at least 2 years in a Tier 2+ role at an MSP
• Expertise in Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Intune, Teams, SharePoint, Entra ID, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with escalation-level issues (org-wide outages, permissions, policies—not just “Outlook won’t open”)
• Strong communicator with professional phone presence
• Customer-first mindset with an ability to build trust and rapport
• Mentorship skills and a desire to help junior techs grow
• Understanding of basic networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPNs)
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics a plus
• Relevant certifications (MS-100, MS-101, MD-102) are a strong plus
• Reliable transportation for occasional client site visits in the DMV area
• $70,000-$90,000
