About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive SharePoint Engineer to join our global IT team. This role will support both SharePoint Online and On-Premises environments, along with Power Automate, Power Apps, and Microsoft Dataverse, to empower collaboration, automation, and data integration across the business.

As part of a large-scale BPO organization, you will play a key role in enabling secure, scalable, and efficient digital workplace solutions for thousands of users across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

SharePoint Online Management

  • Administer, configure, and maintain SharePoint Online environments, including site collections, document libraries, content types, and permission structures.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of SharePoint sitesfrom creation and usage governance to decommissioning.
  • Monitor system health, performance, and usage metrics, proactively resolving issues and optimizing performance.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance policies and best practices for content management and collaboration.

SharePoint On-Premises Administration

  • Manage on-prem SharePoint farms (2013/2016/2019), including upgrades, patching, backup/restore, and infrastructure health.
  • Handle hybrid configurations, ensuring a seamless user experience across cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Work on a project team to transition on premises content to SharePoint Online

Power Automate Administration

  • Design, implement, and maintain Power Automate flows that automate business processes and enhance productivity.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize existing workflows for performance, reliability, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with business teams to develop automation solutions that meet operational requirements.

Power Apps Administration

  • Develop, deploy, and manage custom Power Apps solutions that integrate with SharePoint, Dataverse, and other business systems.
  • Maintain and enhance apps based on evolving user needs and feedback.
  • Ensure applications are secure, performant, and user-friendly.

Microsoft Dataverse Administration

  • Administer Dataverse environments and manage custom tables, relationships, business rules, and data policies.
  • Integrate Dataverse with Power Platform solutions to facilitate seamless data access and automation.
  • Monitor data integrity, access control, and platform scalability.

Security & Compliance

  • Implement and maintain security best practices across SharePoint and Power Platform environments.
  • Enforce governance, access control, data retention, and auditing policies.
  • Support compliance initiatives and respond to internal/external audits as required.

Support & Troubleshooting

  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for SharePoint Online, SharePoint On-Prem, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse.
  • Resolve technical issues and ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
  • Deliver end-user training and create documentation to support adoption and best practices.

Required Technical Skills

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a SharePoint Administrator or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with SharePoint Online and SharePoint On-Premises.
  • Strong expertise in Power Automate, Power Apps, and Microsoft Dataverse administration and development.
  • Experience designing and managing SharePoint site collections, document libraries, and permissions models.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 tools and services: OneDrive, Teams, Outlook, and Exchange Online.
  • Familiarity with PowerShell, PnP PowerShell, and automation scripting for administration tasks.
  • Understanding of data modelling and relational structures in Dataverse.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, including basic report integration with SharePoint and Dataverse.
  • Solid grasp of security, compliance, and governance in the Microsoft cloud ecosystem.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-700, PL-900, PL-100, PL-400, or equivalent).
  • Experience in enterprise-scale BPO or IT service management environments.
  • Familiarity with third-party SharePoint management tools (e.g., ShareGate, Metalogix).
  • Knowledge of hybrid identity and authentication models (Azure AD Connect, ADFS).
