Job summary
Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a Cybersecurity Analyst for its SOC, Tier 2 to monitor threats, analyze events, and respond in real time. You will review logs, coordinate with teams, and support incident recovery while producing clear reports for stakeholders.
Required DoD information systems experience, TS clearance, and a willingness to work a 24/7 shift. Bachelor’s in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or Engineering is preferred.
Qualifications
- Experience with DoD information systems.
- Ability to support 24/7 operations via a shift work schedule.
- Top Secret clearance.
- HS diploma or GED.
- Bachelor's degree in an Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or Engineering field.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze threats in real time and respond to security alerts.
- Review logs, tool outputs, and intelligence sources to investigate security events.
- Engage escalation processes and document findings for leadership and teams.
- Prepare reports and informational documents to communicate risk and mitigation steps.
- Collaborate with the team to mitigate threats and support recovery efforts.
