Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to join the Security Operations Center in a hands-on capacity. You will monitor threats, investigate incidents, and coordinate with a team to mitigate risks in real time, ensuring critical infrastructure protection.

Your work includes reviewing logs, leveraging DoD resources, and producing reports to guide security decisions. A TS clearance and 8570 IAT Level II are required, with a shift-based 24/7 schedule in Indy.

Qualifications

• Experience with DoD information systems.
• Ability to support 24/7 operations via a shift work schedule.
• Top Secret clearance required.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II and CSSP Analyst Certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze threats, and respond to security alerts in real time.
• Review logs and intelligence sources, investigate security events, and escalate as needed.
• Prepare reports; work with team to mitigate threats and restore operations.
• Analyze incidents to determine affected systems and support recovery efforts.
• Leverage threat intelligence and patterns to understand attacker goals and improve defenses.
