Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is seeking a Tier 2 Cloud Support professional for our Raleigh, NC division.

The role focuses on diagnosing access and connectivity issues, provisioning and securing cloud infrastructure, and managing user access across cloud and on-prem environments. The successful candidate will show strong collaboration skills, experience with Windows/Linux environments, and readiness for on-call/weekend duties.

Qualifikationen

• Requires Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, CS or closely related field and 2–4 years experience OR MS with 0–2 years experience.
• Must be US citizen with active Secret clearance; SAP access requirements.
• Willingness to participate in On Call and weekend work as needed.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Aufgaben

• Diagnose and resolve access, connectivity, and authentication issues across VMs and shared resources.
• Provision, configure, and secure virtual machines and cloud infrastructure with best practices.
• Manage user and system access, including identity and group policies.
• Monitor system health and user activity to detect security incidents and assist containment.
• Maintain accurate documentation in Jira, ServiceNow, and related ticketing systems.
• Collaborate with end users to validate changes and escalate issues with logs.
• Balance fast ticket resolution with long-term supportability through scripting and escalation protocols.
