Job summary

Huntsman is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Advanced Materials Division in Los Angeles, CA. You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment, utilities, and facility systems to ensure reliability and uptime.

This hands-on role requires interpreting manuals and schematics, diagnosing mechanical issues, and executing repairs. Candidates should be able to work across shifts, including overtime, with a commitment to safety and proper

Qualifications

• Unrestricted right to work in the United States.
• Minimum four years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics and procedures.
• Willing to work multiple shifts, including nights and overtime.
• Experience with pumps, bearings, gearboxes, valves, piping, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout safety concepts.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, utilities, and facility systems.
• Inspect equipment for wear, leaks, vibration, alignment issues, and other reliability/safety concerns.
• Identify developing equipment issues and take corrective action before failure occurs.
• Perform lubrication, adjustments, component replacement, rebuilds, and routine maintenance.
• Document inspections, repairs, and parts in the CMMS/EAM system.
• Support equipment installation, modification, relocation, and commissioning.
