Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle primary planned maintenance and small-scale troubleshooting. You will perform testing and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems and use schematics to guide work.

Under supervision, you will document procedures, train operators on autonomous maintenance, and help maintain inventory and parts for reliability and uptime in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; specialized skills training may be needed.
• 2–5 years of experience in maintenance or related field.
• Experience with mechanical/electrical systems and testing.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support in production, operations, maintenance, safety and testing.
• Uses schematics and plans to test and troubleshoot components.
• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Evaluates equipment improvements and conducts failure analyses.
• Troubleshoots difficult problems and documents modifications.
• Oversees contract maintenance activities as required.
• Trains Operators on Autonomous Maintenance procedures.
• Maintains shop and equipment inventories.
