Job summary

EXOS is seeking a highly motivated Tier 1 IT Technician to join its growing IT support team in Evansville, IN. You will deliver first-line technical assistance to customers via phone, email, and live chat, troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, and document all interactions clearly.

Requirements include 1–2 years in technical support, familiarity with Windows and Mac, and basic networking knowledge.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a technical support role
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, and common office software
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to customers via phone, email, and live chat
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
• Document all interactions, issues, and solutions
• Escalate issues to appropriate level of support when needed
• Maintain high customer satisfaction with effective solutions and service
