Job summary

Red River Managed Services is seeking a Tier 1 Technician with an active SECRET clearance to join our Service Desk team in Chantilly, VA. The role focuses on initial IT support, account management, and incident handling while escalating complex issues to Tier 2 engineers.

You will work with Windows and Mac environments, maintain SOPs, and ensure prompt, high-quality customer service. On-call duties may apply as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of IT experience in administration and support.
• Experience with Windows/macOS
• Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP administration basics.

Responsibilities

• Handle Level 1 service desk tickets via phone, email or ticketing system.
• Escalate issues per SOPs and coordinate with Tier 2 engineers when needed.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and client reports with accuracy.
