Job summary

Magna5 is seeking a Tier 1 Engineer for End User Support in a hybrid role, based near Fredericksburg, VA. This position supports Defense Industrial Base clients with remote and on-site tasks, including server, network, and cloud troubleshooting.

Qualifications

Associates degree in IT-related curriculum or significant industry experience may substitute education.
Security+ certification is preferred.
Microsoft 365 Fundamentals certification is preferred.
Network+ certification is beneficial for networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities

Respond to customer support requests for Defense Industrial Base customers.
Interacting with clients professionally and promptly.
Collaborate with team members to solve problems and escalate as needed.
Document resolutions and build knowledge base articles.
Track time and activity in the Magna5 ticketing system.
Utilize Magna5 monitoring and cybersecurity systems to triage alerts and alarms.
