Job summary

Magna5 MS LLC in Mobile, AL is seeking a Tier 2 Systems Engineer to handle escalated issues, advanced troubleshooting, and day-to-day support for managed services clients. You’ll collaborate with Tier 1 and Tier 3 teams to maintain secure, stable environments across on-prem and cloud platforms.

The role requires in-office presence in Mobile with up to 40% onsite work, a customer-focused mindset, and experience in MSP environments. Bachelor’s degree and US work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in technical support, systems administration, or MSP/help desk (Tier 2).
• Strong Windows Server/Desktop, AD, DNS, DHCP, and M365 administration.
• Solid TCP/IP networking knowledge and ability to document work.
• Experience with RMM/monitoring platforms and remote support tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 support via phone, ticketing, email, and remote tools.
• Troubleshoot escalated incidents across workstations, servers, networks, and cloud services.
• Own tickets through resolution with timely updates and documentation.
• Mentor Tier 1, contribute to SOPs and knowledge base, and uphold client relationships.
