Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required; must not have any major driving offenses within the last three years.
• Dependable and consistent attendance/punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Learn grade ties per Omaha Track tie grading standards.
• Operate a skidsteer for racking, stockpiling, sorting and loading bundles.
• Tolerate repetitive motion for crimping and tightening banding.
• Load flat bed truck trailers and customer trailers.
• Fill out daily reports for scrap and bundles.
• Fill out Bill of Ladings and maintain documentation.
• Inspect and maintain equipment per policies and procedures.
• Maintain clean and organized tools and work areas.
• Comply with safety requirements, policies and procedures.
• Complete required safety training and certifications.
