Job summary

Park Avenue Armory is seeking a Part-Time Box Office Associate to serve on-site for over 20 annual productions and events. You will sell tickets in person and by phone through Tessitura, greet guests, and act as an ambassador for the Armory with a focus on exceptional customer service.

This temporary position requires regular evening and weekend availability, about 10-20 hours per week, from September 8 through October 23, 2026.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, point of sale, and/or ticketing experience.
• Experience with Tessitura software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sell tickets in person and over the phone using Tessitura.
• Deliver exceptional guest experience and answer inquiries.
• Process payments and reconcile receipts at shift end.
• Coordinate will-call distribution and assist with reprinting.
• Respond promptly to inquiries and resolve issues with a customer-first approach.
• Promote Armory memberships and process exchanges/refunds.
• Maintain knowledge of policies, pricing, and ticketing best practices.
• Collaborate with departments to support events and performances.
