Job summary

The Straz Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa seeks a Customer Service Representative to deliver superior service, answer questions about events, tickets, dining, and programs, and assist with ticket purchases and will-call pickup.

You will handle face-to-face, phone, chat and email inquiries, maintain accurate information, process sales, and support a team with flexible evening and weekend shifts in a busy downtown venue.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Experience with Tessitura or ticket office software is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information about events, tickets, and venue services.
• Make outbound sales and information calls using a script.
• Process daily ticket sales and will-call ticket distribution.
• Create reservations for on-site dining at Maestro's restaurants.
• Enter data into the ticketing system in real time.
• Work evenings and weekends as required.
• Assist with miscellaneous ticket office projects.
