Job summary

The Straz Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Tampa is seeking friendly servers to join our team. This part-time role splits duties between indoor and outdoor locations, with event-based schedules including evenings and weekends.

You will be the main guest contact, delivering a positive experience and supporting a team-oriented service culture. We offer flexible hours, employee discounts, and a 403(b) plan for part-time staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and some holidays.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Dining room basics and POS cash handling preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tables before service and act as the main guest contact during service.
• Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests promptly.
• Monitor the dining experience and guest satisfaction.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and maintain clean service areas.
• Handle final bills and assist with clearing and resetting tables.
