Job summary

Arlington Backyard is a premier outdoor concert venue in Arlington, TX seeking an Event Usher. The role involves greeting guests, selling and scanning admission tickets, and handling cash at portable registers.

You will verify tickets, distribute promos, and assist attendees with directions and questions to ensure a memorable experience. The position may require nights, weekends or holidays and strong English communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience with cash handling, customer service and/or hosting.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at entrances in a professional manner.
• Sell and scan admission tickets for events.
• Handle cash and operate a portable cash register.
• Verify tickets by color or date.
• Distribute promotional items and wrist bands when necessary.
• Manage check-in of will call and VIP guests.
• Assist guests with event or facility questions.
• Direct guests to restrooms, parking, ATMs, etc.
• Work with the team to ensure the best guest experience.
• Consistently offer professional, engaging and friendly service.
