Job summary

Legends Global’s Fishers Event Center seeks a part-time Ticket Seller. You will handle ticket sales, respond to patron inquiries, and support Will-Call operations in a fast-paced venue environment.

Responsibilities include processing sales, opening/closing the ticket window, and delivering professional service while maintaining accurate records and contributing to a smooth guest experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, related experience welcomed.
• Ability to listen, follow instructions and handle customer inquiries.
• Experience with ticketing or guest services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process single ticket sales at the ticket office and assist with group sales as needed.
• Answer questions about prices, availability, events, and ticket office procedures.
• Open and close ticket window as required; manage Will-Call as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle most ticket office questions independently.
• File records and reports; perform related clerical duties as assigned.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

THE ROLE

Fishers Event Center has an excellent and immediate opening for a part-time Ticket Seller.

Responsible for ticket sales for shows or events by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Process single ticket sales at the ticket office and assist with group sales when requested.
• Professionally, efficiently, and courteously answers patron’s questions concerning prices, availability, events, and related Ticket Office questions.
• Opens and or closes ticket window as required.
• Handles Will-Call window according to procedures, or other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills; responds promptly to customer needs, responds to requests for service and assistance, able to work independently and handle most ticket office questions without assistance.
• Files various records and reports. Performs related clerical work as assigned.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to work the ticket window with minimal supervision
• Ability to work flexible hours including daytime, evening, weekends and holidays, as needed
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English
• Must have professional attitude and appearance

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ticket office or guest services background preferred

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to listen and follow instructions
• Ability to input data into a computer to record sales transactions
• Good communications and customer service skills. Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions. Able to read and interpret written information
• Good problem solving skills and organizational ability
• Ability to work independently and as a member of the team
