Job summary

Legends Global at Fishers Event Center in Indiana seeks a part-time Suite Attendant in the Food & Beverage department. You will ensure guests in suites have a premium experience, performing pre-event setup and ongoing service during events.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1+ year in foodservice, a valid Indiana Server License, and completion of Indiana Excise training; expect varied shifts including days, nights, weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a foodservice position.
• Indiana Server Liquor License and completion of Indiana Excise training required.

Responsibilities

• Pre-event suite set-up including dishes, plates, and ambiance.
• Verify and set up pre-game/event orders.
• Identify suite host and introduce yourself.
• Take and place game day food and beverage orders.
• Set up and serve guests, replenish supplies as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of suites throughout the event.
• Obtain host signatures on charges in a timely manner.
• Reset suite for next function and close out with supervisor.

THE ROLE

Fishers Event Center has an excellent and immediate opening for a part-time Suite Attendant.

Ensuring that guests staying in suites or premium rooms have a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Pre-event suite set-up includes chafing dishes, plates and silverware, televisions, lighting, and overall ambiance in the suite.
• Verify and set-up all pre-game/event orders.
• Identify suite host and properly introduce yourself.
• Take and place game day food and beverage orders.
• Set-up and check on game day food and beverage orders and serve guests until the end of the event.
• Replenish food, beverages, condiments, and utensils as needed.
• Maintain standard of orderliness and cleanliness of suite throughout the event.
• Obtain signatures from the host on charges in a timely manner.
• Clear all items from the suite and clean all surfaces and chafing dishes in suite.
• Reset suite for next function, complete closing functions and check out with supervisor or manager.
• Working hours vary by show to include days, nights, weekdays, and weekends.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in foodservice position required.
• Must possess a valid Indiana Server Liquor License and certificate of completion of Indiana Excise training course s

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Excellent guest service skills: ability to adhere to Universal Service Standards.
• Ability to complete required pre-employment sanitation and alcohol service training.
• Knowledgeable in the operating food service equipment, basic food preparatory techniques, sanitation, and safety issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills – ability to communicate with staff and to prepare event plans.
• Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to direct the work activities of several associates simultaneously and plan.
• Highly motivated, ability to take initiative, effectively work with others and work in a fast-paced environment.
