Job summary

ATG Entertainment USA is hiring a part-time Ticket Agent in San Antonio, Texas. This role involves selling tickets across various venues and ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Overview

LOCATION: San Antonio, Texas

HOURS: Part-Time position up to 30 hours a week based on number of event(s); requires day and night availability

COMPENSATION: $15/hour

Position

Ticket Agent

Responsibilities
  • Selling tickets in all ATG Entertainment venues in San Antonio, including the Majestic Theatre, Charline McCombs Empire Theatre, McCombs Empire Theatre, The Espee, and other locations as needed
  • Assist patrons with ticketing needs and questions in person, by email, and over the phone
  • Work as a team member to ensure positive patron experiences
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Must be able to communicate effectively
  • Selling and exchanging tickets for Broadway season subscribers on two ticketing systems
  • Work with Marketing and Premium Services on any ticketing needs
People, Places, and Things
  • San Antonio's landmark venues: the Majestic Theatre (96 years), Charline McCombs Empire Theatre (112 years), and The Espee (formerly Sunset Station)
  • The box office team collaborates with Marketing, Theatre Services, and Production teams on ticketing needs
  • Box office operates show days/nights; open 3 hours prior to ticketed time and closes 30 minutes past ticketed time (varies for Broadway productions)
Experience and Skills
  • At least 6 months experience in ticketing and/or customer service
  • Must be able to communicate effectively
  • Self-motivated and a team player
  • Knowledge of Windows-based programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of the Audience View ticketing system and/or Archtics is a plus
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
  • Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual is a plus
