Job summary

ATG is seeking a part-time Ticket Agent in San Antonio to sell tickets at the Majestic Theatre and other venues. The role covers up to 30 hours weekly with day and night shifts, offering a lively, customer-focused environment.

You will assist patrons in person, by email and phone; process transactions; and use ticketing systems like Audience View or Archtics. A 6-month background in ticketing or customer service is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months experience in ticketing and/or customer service.
• Ability to communicate effectively across channels.
• Knowledge of Windows-based programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Location: San Antonio, Texas

ABOUT THE POSITION

• Selling tickets in all ATG Entertainment venues in San Antonio that will include the Majestic Theatre, Charline McCombs Empire Theatre, The Espee and other locations as needed.
• Assist patrons with ticketing need and questions in person, by email and over the phone
• Work as a team member to ensure positive patron experiences
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Must be able to communicate effectively
• Selling and Exchanging tickets for Broadway season subscribers on two ticketing systems
• Work with marketing and premium services with any ticketing needs

PEOPLE, PLACES, and THINGS

• San Antonio’s beloved landmarks, the Majestic Theatre (96 years), Charline McCombs Empire Theatre (112 years), and The Espee (formerly Sunset Station) bringing LIVE entertainment to the heart of downtown.
• The box office team collaborates often with Marketing, Theatre Services, and Production teams on any ticketing needs.
• This position will require working show days/nights - box office will open 3 hours prior to ticketed time and closed 30 minutes past ticketed time depending on the production. For Broadway productions this will vary.
• EXPERIENCE and SKILLS
• At least 6 months experience in ticketing and/or customer service
• Must be able to communicate effectively
• Self-motivated and team player
• Knowledge of Windows-based programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Knowledge of the Audience View ticketing system and/or Archtics is a plus
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
• Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual is a plus
