Job summary

ARCO in the Chicagoland area seeks a Project Manager to own TI Industrial projects from design to completion. You’ll coordinate with clients and the design team, drive budgets and schedules, and lead preconstruction planning and on-site reviews with vendors and subs.

Required are a BS in Engineering or related field and 2–10 years in construction management, with proficiency in MS Project and Bluebeam/Procore. ARCO offers strong benefits and a performance-based bonus package.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 2–10 years of construction management or engineering design experience.
• Experience around tenant improvement projects in the commercial space is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Project/Suite and construction software (Bluebeam/Procore).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all managerial and administrative aspects from preconstruction to closeout.
• Work with clients and design team to develop concepts and budgets.
• Participate in proposals to review scope, reduce costs, and negotiate contracts.
• Oversee subcontractor selection and buyout for trades and vendors.
• Identify opportunities to procure materials or equipment to fit budget/schedule.
• Develop and review subcontractor scopes, schedules, and site logistics with the project team.
• Lead preconstruction planning meetings with designers, subs, and vendors.
• Lead weekly meetings to review progress and address challenges with the client.
• Track project performance vs. budget; prepare pay applications and progress reports.
