Job summary

ARCO/Murray National Construction seeks an experienced Superintendent for Tenant Improvement construction in the Chicagoland area. You will manage field operations, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and specifications.

The ideal candidate has 5-15+ years of TI and high-end commercial experience, with strong leadership and safety commitment. Local travel is minimal as this is a Chicagoland role.

Qualifications

• 5-25+ years of construction experience with at least 5 years as a lead superintendent on TI/commercial projects
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and project scheduling programs

Responsibilities

• Attend post-award meetings to receive project details and preplanning
• Develop construction activity schedules and staffing plans
• Direct and control the project to meet specifications and schedule
• Coordinate with project manager on material shipments and shop drawings
• Coordinate subcontractors to align with project schedules and progress
• Inform supervisors and subs of schedule changes
• Prepare progress and cost reports reflecting actual costs
• Review requisitions, POs, invoices and significant documents
• Collaborate with owner Representatives and architects in project decisions
• Maintain daily project diary documenting significant events and approvals
