Theorist Inc. is seeking talented freelance thumbnail artists with 2-3 years of thumbnail design experience and a portfolio showcasing graphic design skills. Knowledge of our thumbnail style and the YouTube space is preferred.

Generative AI is not permitted, and all assets must be used with proper permissions. Flexible duration and compensation per thumbnail. Applicants should be able to work during US Eastern office hours and communicate frequently to hit deadlines as part of a collaborative

Formación

• 2-3 years of thumbnail design experience.

Who We Are

Theorist Inc. is one of the largest and most respected new media production studios and YouTube creator studios. We produce flagship channels “Game Theory”, “Film Theory”, “Food Theory”, “Style Theory”, and “GTLive”, as well as fan society “TheoryVerse”.

The Role

Theorist Inc. is looking for talented thumbnail artists for freelance work. Applicants must have demonstrated experience with graphic design with a portfolio of previous work to present. Knowledge of our thumbnail style and the YouTube space is preferred. Generative AI is not permitted or included in the workflow, and all assets are acquired and utilized with the appropriate permissions.

Duration & Commitment: Flexible

Compensation: Competitive rate per thumbnail

Requirements

• 2-3 years of thumbnail design experience
• Basic to mid-level skills in digital art
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
• Proven proficiency with graphic design
• Ability to quickly research and understand a variety of different topics
• Willingness to communicate frequently and deliver deadlines during US Eastern office hours
• Compliance with Theorist’s “No GenAI” policy

Preferences

• Familiar with various Theorist channels
• Knowledge of other Adobe design tools, such as Illustrator
• Basic knowledge of Blender and 3D modeling
• Experience working with other artists and directors in a team environment
• Available for work weekly
• Experience editing thumbnails for YouTube channels
