Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience designing high-performing YouTube thumbnails, strong Adobe Creative Suite skills, and deep knowledge of color theory, typography, and engagement psychology. Remote work within North America preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience designing high-performing YouTube thumbnails.
• Strong technical expertise with Adobe Creative Suite and other tools that support design.
• Deep understanding of click psychology and what drives engagement.
• Strong grasp of color theory, composition, and typography.
• Always in-the-know on the latest YouTube design trends.
• Deeply passionate and knowledgeable about YouTube content and thumbnails.
• Fast and efficient without sacrificing quality, delivering polished designs on tight deadlines.
• Highly detail orientated and committed to delivering your best work every time.
• Can explain design decisions clearly and adapt to feedback.
• Self-starter mentality who knows how to prioritize, take initiative, and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize thumbnails that demand attention and drive clicks.
• Design and deliver high-impact thumbnails aligned with video messaging and tone.
• Collaborate with client services to understand briefs and apply brand guidelines.
• Meet deadlines while maintaining top-tier design quality.
• Articulate design decisions and the strategy behind thumbnails.
• Respond to internal requests with a service-oriented mindset and quick turnarounds.
• Prepare multiple thumbnail variants for A/B testing.
• Research industry trends and analyze top-performing thumbnails to refine strategy.
