Job summary

The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center in Akron is seeking a Sales and Production Associate to work in a production store and handle a wide range of duties in both the store and production area. You will keep the environment friendly, assist with donations, price and stock merchandise, and provide courteous service to donors and customers.

This role also supports the work therapy program and requires the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create a pleasant, hospitable work environment and maintain good customer relationships.
• Assist store operations and merchandise in proper categories.
• Serve customers courteously and efficiently.
• Handle donations with care and donors with respect.
• Maintain clean and organized sales floor and donation areas.
• Immediately report theft, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management.
• Follow the Guide to Thrift Store & Donation Center Operations.
• Support the work therapy program for beneficiaries.
