Job summary

The Salvation Army SF Main Thrift Store is hiring a Sales Associate/Material Handler (Full Time) at $19.61 per hour. Immediate supervisor: Store Manager.

Duties: Greet customers and donors, stock and merchandize items, sort donations, operate POS/Cash Register, maintain store cleanliness, follow TSA policies and safety guidelines. Flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must be able to operate POS/Cash Register.
• Must pass background check (Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry).
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow store employees, customers and donors.

Responsibilities

• Greet all Customers and Donors and provide prompt, courteous assistance.
• Stock priced items for merchandising on the sales floor.
• Sort donations according to Salvation Army Standards.
