Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is preferred.
• Retail or cashier experience is helpful but not required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use a web-based system.
• Fluent English reading/writing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure shelves and racks are full and organized to promote sales.
• Assist management with pricing items for sale as needed.
• Process merchandise efficiently following established standards.
• Stock racks, shelves, and tables with merchandise for sale.
• Learn and train on the processing system, including cash register.
• Maintain a clean store environment, including shelves and counters.
• Wrap and bag merchandise for customers when needed.
• Provide courteous, prompt customer service aligned with The Salvation Army mission.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
