Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a part-time Store Associate to deliver excellent customer service and meet sales requirements for our thrift stores. This role involves duties such as receiving donations, sorting, pricing, stocking, and operating the cash register with accurate money handling.

We prioritize teamwork, strong English communication, and a willingness to learn. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and adhere to store policies and safety

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Retail or Thrift experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of cash handling and cashier procedures, helpful.
• Ability and willingness to learn new methods to improve skills and proficiency.

Responsibilities

• receiving donations, sorting, hanging clothes, pricing, stocking sales floor, arranging merchandise in displays, cash register operation, accurate money handling, processing credit cards, helping carry out purchased merchandise.
• Must be willing to adhere to uniform, cell phone, break, and smoking policies.
