Empower Retirement in Greenwood Village, CO seeks a Security Engineer to Threat and Vulnerability Management within Cyber Threat and Detection. You will assess vulnerabilities, manage scanning infrastructure, and drive remediation across agile teams.

The role requires cybersecurity experience, cloud security knowledge, and strong communication skills to explain risks to executives. This position follows a mostly weekday schedule with potential after-hours as needed.

Formación

• Degree or industry certification in cybersecurity or intelligence, or equivalent experience.
• 3 years IT and 2 years in cybersecurity or application security.
• Ability to perform network vulnerability testing, penetration testing, or threat assessments.
• Understanding of Cloud infrastructure and security.
• Knowledge of Linux/Windows admin, networking, scripting, and security.
• Coding experience is a plus; strong analytical and reporting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct application vulnerability assessments.
• Manage vulnerability scanning infrastructure.
• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities with owners across teams.
• Support the Application Security Management program across agile teams.
• Assess design-related security risks and guide remediation.
• Ensure security requirements are followed across programs.
• Implement and maintain security automation across TVM space.
• Drive implementation of threat and vulnerability management tools.
• Provide technical analysis of vulnerabilities to prioritize and remediate.
• Develop strategies to remediate vulnerabilities and automate where possible.
